How Kinesiology Supports Deeper Healing

As an applied kinesiologist, I use gentle muscle testing to identify imbalances within your body and energy system. Together, we explore the physical, nutritional, emotional and energetic aspects of your health — recognising how closely they are connected.

I integrate kinesiology with homeopathy and energy-based approaches, allowing each session to be guided by what your body needs in that moment. This often brings awareness to underlying patterns that may not be immediately obvious, but can be influencing how you feel.

Rather than simply managing symptoms, this work supports your body in addressing the root causes of stress, discomfort or dis-ease. Over time, this can lead to greater vitality, emotional clarity and a deeper sense of balance and ease.

Common Issues I Work With

Kinesiology can support a wide range of health concerns, including:

  • hormonal imbalances (including menopause)
  • digestive issues
  • stress and anxiety
  • sleep difficulties
  • fatigue (including ME and fibromyalgia)
  • skin conditions
  • pain and physical discomfort

Many people I work with come not only with specific symptoms, but with a sense that something deeper may be contributing to their health challenges.

By working with the interconnected aspects of your health, kinesiology helps support your body in restoring balance and moving towards more lasting wellbeing.

My Approach to Deeper Healing

About My Approach

I work with people who are open to exploring a deeper approach to their health — where physical symptoms are understood in the context of the whole person.

Using muscle testing, I listen to what your body is communicating, exploring the physical, nutritional, emotional and energetic factors that may be involved.

Each session is tailored to you, drawing on a range of techniques to gently uncover and address underlying imbalances. This is a process that unfolds over time, allowing space for meaningful and lasting change.

The aim is not just relief from symptoms, but supporting you to feel more balanced, resilient and connected within yourself.

This work is most effective as a series of sessions, allowing us to go deeper and support lasting change.

About Me

I am passionate about health in the widest sense, helping people to live life with freedom, joy and meaning.

Through my own health journey, I have gained a deep interest in and understanding of health and wellbeing. I have worked within health for many years, qualifying as a Homeopath in 2010. Alongside Kinesiology, I trained in Reiki and Energy Medicine and I also work with people with learning difficulties.

What I love about Kinesiology is that it really gets to the bottom of things. It promotes healing in a very profound way, tailored to the individual. I am registered with the Kinesiology Association UK.

About Kinesiology

Kinesiology was developed by chiropractor Dr George Goodheart, who realised that many health problems had deeper causes which, if addressed, he could effect deeper and more effective healing that lasted. Through gently testing muscle response in different muscles, alongside practical elements of Chinese medicine and modalities such as NLP and Emotional Freedom Technique, kinesiology uses the body’s bio-feedback mechanisms to gain information about what is going on for the client.

This information will highlight issues within nutrition and physical structure, as well as emotional issues and problems with the body’s energy flow. Kinesiology does not diagnose diseases, but looks at the health of the body’s systems, and the physical, mental and emotional symptoms expressed by the client.

Seasonal blog

As we move from spring towards summer, many of us begin to notice a subtle shift — not just in the weather and longer daylight hours, but within ourselves too.

Even though the weather can still feel wonderfully unpredictable at this time of year, there is often a growing sense of expansion, movement and outward energy. Nature is flourishing, social calendars become fuller, and there can be a renewed desire for connection, creativity and activity.

This seasonal transition can feel uplifting and energising. We may find ourselves wanting to spend more time outdoors, reconnect with others, begin new projects or simply enjoy the lightness that longer days can bring.

At the same time, this period of change can also bring challenges.

For some people, symptoms such as hay fever, sinus congestion, headaches, fatigue or skin flare-ups become more noticeable as the body responds to increased pollen and environmental changes. Others may notice that the faster pace of life begins to catch up with them. It can become easier to overcommit, overdo things physically, or lose the balance between activity and rest.

Interestingly, the expansion of summer energy can also accentuate emotional feelings that may have been sitting quietly in the background over winter. Feelings of loneliness, overwhelm, anxiety or disconnection can sometimes feel more apparent when the world around us seems busy and outwardly vibrant.

This is one reason I feel it is so important to stay connected to our bodies and to the rhythms of the seasons, rather than trying to push ourselves to match an ideal of constant energy or productivity.

In my own journey recently, I’ve been deeply inspired by some wonderful learning experiences that have supported this connection. I’ve been studying Phytobiophysics remedies with the fantastic kinesiologist Pauline Noakes, exploring how energetic plant remedies may help support balance and wellbeing on many levels.

Alongside this, I’ve also been attending a beautiful yoga course with Sam Bullingham, which has been incredibly supportive in helping me reconnect with being present in my body, slowing down, and aligning more naturally with the changing seasons.

Both experiences have reinforced something I see often in clinic work as an applied kinesiologist: healing and wellbeing are rarely about forcing or fixing. More often, they involve listening, supporting the body gently, and understanding what we need at a particular moment in time.

As we continue moving towards summer, this can be a helpful time to ask ourselves:

  • What is giving me energy right now?
  • What is draining me?
  • Where do I need more balance?
  • Am I allowing enough space for rest and nourishment alongside activity and connection?

Our bodies are constantly adapting to the world around us. Sometimes they simply need the right support, space and understanding to do so more easily.

If you are feeling out of balance physically or emotionally during this seasonal transition, kinesiology can offer a gentle and supportive way to explore what your body may be asking for and help support you on your health journey.
